Nice introduction and soft spoken. Neither haughty nor humble just right on.
“The individual, but it is bigger then that” “The individual, but it is universal.” These statements are meaningful and powerful.
I loved hearing your dancers words and their commitment to finding their own voices and power in the creation and dialogue of “Animal Corridor.”
It was nice to hear them speak after the Day 1 blog.
Beautiful cast!
The idea “the personal informs the politic and vice versa” comes to mind when I am watching this video. Teaching at a University where the male population is almost 60%, I can see the embodiment of masculinity across campus, and I’m excited to see how your process unfolds onstage. It’s interesting hearing from your dancers describe the guts of the process. Lovely.
