Really enjoyed the nature of the day and scenery. Sun, clouds, wind, brush, dock, sometimes I meditate on these when I’m doing my yoga meditation with my yoga therapist Sarah Mae Gibbons brings me down to earth.

Day 3 video- blog is a dance in itself; the snap cuts, perspective and editing. I love seeing the motion, but only hearing the wind on the microphone of the camera. It brings an element of voyeurism, empathy, confusion and wonder. It makes me as a witness feel trapped in a container looking through glass at raw emotion. Or underwater myself, which brings layers of metaphor to my thought process. I love the motion and imagery of Hailey twisting with the oar, and the inclusion of no sound or only the muffled wind. I feel her anger when seeing this. I could watch all sections for longer and on repeat. So mesmerizing!

The grass of the nesting image is beautiful. Soft. I can sense the texture, and again with only the sound of the wind it makes me as a viewer feel emotionally caged as well.

So textured! Beautiful! What a wonderful way to research the project.
